Join the Graduate School during our GradBird Appreciation Week kick-off event at the Bowling and Billiards Center. There will be free food and beverages, free bowling, and we will have two monitors within the ESports area to play party games! Come meet some of your fellow graduate students. This event is co-hosted by the Graduate Student Association.

Morning Yoga Flow, Campus Recreation
Join the Graduate School and Campus Recreation for Restorative Yoga. This 45-minute vinyasa-style yoga class incorporates more fluid, flowing sequences that focus on increasing strength and flexibility while calming the mind through slow and controlled movement.

Join the Graduate School in the Spotlight Room located on the first floor of the Bone Student Center for a presentation given by Health Promotion and Wellness. In this session, you will learn about the different signs of anxiety, how to cope with stress, and preventative measures that can be taken.

Join the Graduate School at the Uptown Movie Theatre for the classic movie Back to the Future (1985). Marty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the maverick scientist Doc Brown.

Join the Graduate School and Career Services for a session about setting yourself up for future success after graduate school. Specifically, this session will go over interview tips and job-hunting tactics as well as learn more about the resources and support available at the Career Services Center.

In collaboration with Illinois Art Station the Graduate School will have Art Kits for you to pick-up and make. This art kit will include everything you will need to complete the project.

There will be tickets available at every event. Come and participate in any event then afterwards you’ll get a ticket to fill out. At the end of the week four names will be drawn to win our big give away items. The more events you attend the better your chances are to win one of our prizes.
There will also be our Mega Prize Give Away that one lucky graduate student will recieve. To enter the Mega Prize Give Away you will need to take a photo of you at the event and tag the graduate school on any of our social media pages AND be actively following those pages to be entered. The more pictures you tag us in the more entries you will get.
