The Research Symposium is held each spring and offers an exciting opportunity for enrolled Illinois State graduate and undergraduate students to present what they have learned through their research, scholarship, and creative endeavor in an online academic setting.
Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a research communication competition that challenges master's and Ph.D. students to describe their research topic and its significance in just 3 minutes to a general audience. The event is held each spring at the Normal Theatre.
The Graduate School Workshop Series offers students the opportunity to learn from members of the Graduate School and various other offices on campus about guidelines, processes, opportunities, and possibilities for assistance. The individual sessions cover a wide range of topics and will be offered each semester.
GradBird Appreciation Week coincides with the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGAPS) Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week. Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week seeks to highlight and celebrate the contributions, impact, and value of graduate and professional students on campuses throughout the United States.
